THE COMPANY
My client is a Salford based contractor who due to a large increase in workload requires a Working Foreperson to join their existing construction team. They specialise in projects varying in size and value typically between £200K - £1M, mainly refurbishment works in a range of sectors including, Education, leisure and office refurbishments.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to an off-site Project Manager, you will be managing a small education refurbishment projects, which will include Soft Rip-Out, M & E, Internal Walls & Partitions, New Canteen area and all other associated works.
In addition to managaing a small team of trades, you will also required to do some joinery work as and when required. The Trades Team will be made up of both directly employed and Sub-Contractors around 8 in total.
Deliver a small Education refurbishment project
Daily management of site works and organisation of subcontractors
Ensuring compliance with the health and safety Management Plan
Keeping a site diary including records of subcontractor attendance and progress
ABOUT YOU
Ideally you will have a proven track record of working on projects between £200K-£1m in value within the refurbishment sector. You will also have a strong communication and relationship building experience, both with clients and with sub-contractors.
Man Management & Joinery Skills
Excellent team working skills and communication skills
Self-motivation with energy and drive
SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid At Work + UKATA Asbestos Awareness ( Although we can put you through this)
