THE COMPANY
Owing to an increase in workload, a North West regional contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager for a new build steel frame industrial unit in the Manchester area. They already have multiple live sites across the North West, and have ambitious plans for their future.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Site Manager you will be responsible for safe and timely delivery of the project, reporting directly to a Contracts Manager, who will support you and visiting site. You will be responsible for all the day to day management and reporting, leading the team by example. You will be knowledgeable in all aspects of construction project delivery including, sub-contract programming/planning, subcontract management, and must demonstrate your experience delivering similar projects from start to completion.
£9M - £10M Total Value / 60 Weeks
Demolition / Ground Stabilisation / Piling / Steel Frame / Internal Fit-Out
Assisted by Site Manager / Site Engineer / Visiting Contracts Manager
Oversee the day to day operations of the development and monitor progress
Managing Sub-Contractor’s
Manage to budget and complete within agreed deadlines
Manage, motivate and appraise team members
Maintaining Health and Safety
Weekly update to Contracts Manager
ABOUT YOU
As a Senior Site Manager you will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressured environment working to tight deadlines. You will have successfully delivered similar projects which are of Steel frame build. PLEASE NOTE – Our client is looking for candidates who have been a number Senior Site Manager with proven track record of delivering projects from start to finish. If your experience of steel frame is short freelance assignments you will not be considered.
SMSTS 5 Day Health & Safety / CSCS Supervisor Card / First Aid At Work
Experience in Civil / Steel Frame and successfully delivering similar industrial unit projects
Main Contracting – Consistent career working for a min contractor
IT Literate – You must have excellent IT skills
